Remembering Classmate Amy Perez

Amy PerezOur beloved friend and WG’91 classmate, Amy Perez, along with her children — Molly and Gregory — were tragically taken from us in an unthinkable act of domestic violence in 2011. To honor her memory at this time of our 25th reunion, we are asking you to help support Amy’s Kisses, an organization set up her memory by her family and friends, that has provided funds for underprivileged students to help them pursue a college education.

Amy’s Kisses will use the donations from our reunion class to purchase SAT guide books for Philadelphia Futures, a local nonprofit providing Philadelphia’s high-potential, low-income, first-generation-to-college students with the tools, resources and opportunities necessary for admission to and success in college.

Amy’s Kisses will ask Futures to put bookplates in the books acknowledging the Wharton Class of 1991 and the Class of 91 will appear as a Walk sponsor on Amy’s Kisses website and on the t-shirts for the memorial walk on June 5th, 2016.
